Do you fall to the trap of assuming that your only reason in life is to be productive? Finding your personal bliss may include accomplishment, but the full, balanced scope of your existence may include times where being lazy is just as appealing. Here are a few suggestions for enjoying free or inexpensive fun, all the while showing a marked lack of productivity.

Get to the jokes

You cannot take anything so seriously around you. You do not have to pay anything to bring a smile to your face or to those faces around you. No matter what the reason, make sure you are laughing all the time.

Being lazy tip No. 2: Observe new things

Even if you watch simply for personal enjoyment, pay attention to the activities of others, activities with which you are not familiar. Rock climbing, Euclidean geometry or playing the piano is all activities that could be fun to watch, depending upon your personal proclivities. You do not have to run off and take costly lessons. Be content with observing the pursuits, soaking it in. Pursuing them yourself is for another day and another time.

See the wild in action

You should listen to the creatures in the wild while observing the different things they do. If you go to the forest or to a swamp, you can hear all the noises all around you and they are not that hard to understand. Listen carefully, particularly in the evening and morning.

Look into the park

Think Chicago was not telling the truth when it sang about all the good things to do on a Saturday in the park? Think again. A free public park is an excellent summertime destination for sitting back and catching some rays. Bring a chair, or a towel. If you're going to be there at lunchtime, bring lunch with you and enjoy it there.

Spend some time in a garden

You can find a neighborhood flower garden or greenhouse to walk around in. It is usually free and is a perfect way to enjoy your afternoon. Your town may have a community flower garden you can through.

Cloud pleasure

You can look at the clouds and identify them with friends and family, or you can do it on your own if you need. You can just look at what the clouds look like or you can classify them. It is a simple thing to mix with your trip to the park.

Read a good book

Rather than always reading to get information, you can read for pleasure. This is good for your mind because it is interactive and is not quite as hard on your brain as watching television. You will really enjoy the time spent reading.

Being lazy tip No. 8: Look at old photos

Every photo you have around you tells some sort of story. You will have good memories by looking through the books. Make sure you look at old photographs and reconnect through them.

Watch a sport

You can watch any type of game and enjoy yourself doing it. Rather than spending extra time playing the game, which can be considered useful, you can just watch it. Make sure you balance your life out rather than always working.

Being unproductive tip No. 10: Wade or walk

There are walking trails you can go on or you can just take off your shoes and feel the water between your toes in any type of ocean or river. Go on a walk and think about life instead of being productive. You can just observe the night or the morning, and hold off on every little thing else for a while.
